1. Call me...I'll help you through the process step by step:
I will research the ever fluctuating market conditions for you as well as check the recently
sold comparable homes in your neighborhood in order to determine the perfect listing price
that will allow your home to sell quickly and earn you the most money possible.
2. Make minor updates and repairs:
Repairing any leaks or damage to walls, ceilings or floors and updating lightfixtures, cabinet
handles/pulls, adding framed mirrors to the bathrooms will go a long way in making your
house stand out to potential buyers in your area.
3. Clean and declutter:
Removing excess clutter will make the rooms in your home look larger. If possible, you
could rent a storage unit to temporarily store everything but the most necessary pieces of
furniture and decor. However, remember buyers need to be able to imagine where their own
furniture will go, so don't go overboard, we want your home to look lived in, cozy and warm.
4. Curb Appeal:
Keep the yard cut, hedges trimmed, possibly add a couple of bright colored pots with
beautiful flowers in each beside your front door…these things will all help with curb appeal
which is thebuyer's "first impression". If your mailbox is damaged or in poor condition,
consider replacing it. Depending on how far you want to go with the curb appeal, painting
the front door is always a good way to add a pop of color.
5. Professional photo shoot:
Potential buyers will see your home online before seeing it in person most of the time, so I
offer professional photos to my clients. Like the old saying goes "you only get one chance
to make a first impression" so let's put our best foot forward.
6. Listing paperwork:
I will go over the paperwork with you and can email it to you for electronic signature to
make it quick and easy or if you'd rather "put pen to paper", we can meet and take care of
that too. It's not a complicated process either way. We will discuss how you want to show
your home (i.e. are you okay with a keybox which only licensed agents can access, or if
you'd rather be there for all the showings, etc.), I will place a "For Sale" sign in your yard
so neighbors and people driving by will know it's for sale.
7. Let me (your superstar agent) take it from there:
I'll upload all the pictures and documents to the MLS which is the multiple listing service
in your area which will get it on sites like Zillow, Realtor, etc. and immediately gets it in
front of other agents as well. I will hold an open house and market your house through
social media in order to get it sold quickly. Sit back and relax...I'll do the rest!!!
